Hunton Standards
The Hunton Estates Design and Environmental Standards "The Hunton Standards" as well as other legally binding documents, are provided to homeowners prior to closing on a house. This document provides guidance to homeowners on how to maintain their property and remain in good standing with the Hunton Estates Homeowners Association.
Violations are issued on a periodic basis by the HOA management company Community Partners of Virginia, Inc. Questions about violations should be directed to Community Partners by calling 804-378-5000. You may also e-mail your inquiry to HARB@huntonestates.org.
The Board of Directors and ARC Committee review The Hunton Standards on a periodic basis and may communicate potential changes to homeowners. The last revision was approved in October 2023.
MAILBOX SPECIFICATIONS
The purpose of this section is to provide a list of vendors that may be used to source the requirements for mailboxes as listed in The Hunton Standards.
PAINT COLOR – The paint color may be exterior flat (previous standard) or semi-gloss (revised standard). Semi-gloss is recommended to prevent fading.

MAILBOX BOX - The mailbox box itself must be Black and Large or Extra Large in size.

HOUSE NUMBERS - The house numbers shall be affixed to both sides of the post under the mailbox box.

ORNAMENTAL TOP - The ornamental top "Finial" shall be painted and affixed to the top of the post as indicated in the drawing. The following styles are approved for use in the community:

POST BASE - It is recommended that the post base be reinforced with a 4”x4” Mailbox Post Protector Guard to protect the word from lawn maintenance. Post guards may be metal or painted to match the post.
